A decorative cast stone wall plaque or garden ornament shaped as a lion’s head. The piece is constructed from a composite cast stone material with a coarse, sandy-beige textured surface. The sculpture depicts a stylized lion’s face featuring a prominent, radiating mane composed of thick, flowing tufts. The facial features include a broad snout, rounded chin, and deeply recessed eyes designed to cast shadows for definition. The overall form is rounded with a flat reverse for mounting. The surface exhibits a weathered patina with natural darkening in the carvings, consistent with outdoor exposure. A small white rectangular adhesive label is attached to the forehead reading HCP Auctions South West Lot 122 www.hcpauctions.net.
