A vintage wooden lazy kate spool holder rack, designed for use in hand spinning to manage yarn during the plying process. The piece is constructed from a medium-brown stained wood in a tiered, open-frame design. It features a vertical upper section holding four bobbins in two rows and a stepped lower base holding three horizontal bobbins. The unit is fitted with a dark brown shaped wooden carry handle at the top, secured by two yellow pegs. Three knurled tensioning knobs in black and red plastic are located on the underside of the central crossbar. The lot includes an assortment of seven bobbins of varying types, including traditional turned wooden examples and others with metal or plastic central shafts. Several bobbins are partially wound with coarse natural animal or plant fibre yarn in shades of brown and cream.
