An assortment of marine gastropod shells and sea urchin tests, primarily comprising large specimen conch shells. The collection includes two prominent Queen Conch shells (Aliger gigas), featuring wide, flared lips with characteristic pinkish-white interior coloration and weathered outer surfaces. Accompanying these are several smaller gastropods, including murex-type shells with pronounced spines and a heavy turbinid specimen. The lot also contains two dried sea urchin tests, spherical in form with a brownish, textured surface exhibiting pentamerous symmetry. Two ceramic decorative vessels moulded in the form of shells are also present, finished in a green and brown glaze with coiled handles. A fragment of commercial packaging is visible beneath the glass shelf, featuring a printed circular mark with the letter ‘K’ and fragments of text reading ‘saka Japan’ and ‘icado en Jap’, suggesting Japanese origin for the packaging rather than the specimens themselves.
