A set of nesting storage chests of utilitarian construction, each featuring a hinged lid and integrated handles. The boxes are crafted from solid softwood planks, likely pine, with natural finished interiors showing a prominent grain and occasional knots. The exteriors are finished in a dark grey-blue paint. Each chest is fitted with two small metal butt hinges to the lid and features routed, oval-shaped hand-hold cutouts to the side panels for ease of carrying. Designed for space-saving utility, the chests are sized to nest sequentially inside one another. The construction utilises metal staples and simple joinery consistent with functional workshop or set equipment. There are no visible maker’s marks or branding on the items.
