A vintage Jacobean Revival dark oak bookcase / display cabinet of two-door construction. The piece features a prominent molded cornice above two full-length doors, each divided into a glazed upper section with leaded glass panes and a solid lower section. The lower wooden panels are decorated with applied geometric moldings in an elongated X-form diamond configuration. The side stiles are detailed with vertical fluted moldings, and the cabinet is fitted with a centrally located brass-tone keyhole escutcheon. The interior contains fixed or adjustable wooden shelving, currently housing a non-integral wine rack insert. The oak is finished with a traditional dark-stained patina. There are no visible maker’s marks or labels on the exterior of the piece.
