Lot 1016: A Vintage Two-Piece Pine Glazed Dresser

This auction ended on 31 October 2026.

Start price: £3

Estimated price: £3 - £5

Buyer's Premium: 20%

A vintage two-piece dresser constructed from solid pine, typical of late 20th-century British farmhouse furniture. The upper section features a pair of glazed doors, each inset with rectangular leaded glass panes, opening to reveal three internal wooden shelves. Below the glazed cupboards is an open central alcove with a decorative scalloped apron and a circular cable-management hole cut into the backboard. The base unit includes a central drawer above a double-door cupboard, both fitted with raised-panel doors and brass-tone circular pull knobs. The unit is assembled with surface-mounted butterfly hinges and exhibits a warm natural grain throughout. An interior drawer contains a circular adhesive sticker featuring a cartoon elephant and the text WELEPHANT SMOKE BUSTER, alongside a rectangular black adhesive strip. The backboard features a secondary, crudely cut square aperture.

Large-scale furniture items; exact dimensions are not provided.
