A large iron snatch block and heavy-duty screw-pin bow shackle of industrial or maritime origin. The snatch block features a single sheave wheel housed within a forged iron body, connected to a swiveling head assembly by a large circular ring and an integrated screw-pin bow shackle. The companion bow shackle is of heavy forged construction, featuring a threaded pin with a flattened head containing a hole for a tommy bar or securing wire. Both items exhibit a thick, textured patina consistent with prolonged exposure to the elements or use in a salvage environment. The internal sheave on the pulley block shows a recessed channel designed for rope or cable. No maker’s marks, load ratings, or country-of-origin stamps are legible through the surface oxidation.
