An Upper Deck Crewsuit flotation suit, comprising a heavy-duty jacket and high-waisted trousers in olive green ripstop synthetic fabric. The two-piece set is designed as a buoyancy aid for maritime use, featuring reinforced black patches to the shoulders and elbows, and integrated protective pads to the knees. The jacket is constructed with a high storm collar with Velcro fastenings, a full-length waterproof front zip closure, and ribbed knit cuffs and waistband. The trousers, or salopettes, feature wide adjustable elasticated shoulder straps with black plastic quick-release buckles and elasticated ankle cuffs. The interior of both garments is lined with a quilted navy blue fabric. A white printed label inside the jacket is titled UPPER DECK CREWSUIT – JACKET and carries several safety warnings including FOR USE BY SWIMMERS ONLY, IN SHELTERED WATERS, WHERE HELP IS CLOSE AT HAND, and THIS IS A BUOYANCY AID, NOT A LIFEJACKET.
