A Draper Type 301 wood lathe assembly, comprising a motor unit and separate bed. The electric motor unit features a cast metal base finished in blue paint and is fitted with a black adhesive manufacturer’s label printed with a blue and white logo reading DRAPER. The label further details the technical specifications: TYPE 301, NO. 1993, VOLT 240, Hz 50, RPM 1420, AMP 1.5, and CAPACITOR 3.5 mfd. The motor drives a spindle via a V-belt housed within a protective sheet metal casing, terminating in a four-prong drive center.
