Lot 304: A Painted Wooden Medieval-Style Heraldic Wall Shield with Crossed Swords
A medieval-style decorative wall display set, featuring a heater-shaped shield with two integral crossed swords mounted behind it in a saltire arrangement. The shield and sword hilts are constructed from wood or a similar composite material, finished with hand-painted heraldic motifs. The shield is divided quarterly in red and blue with a yellow border, decorated with two yellow rampant lions in the upper quadrants, a central horizontal bar with a stylised spearhead, and a crown-like motif in the lower-left blue quadrant. The non-removable swords feature brown-painted grips with gold-painted crossguards and pommels, and the blades are finished in a metallic silver colour.
