Lot 645: BSA meteor 22 Break Barrel Air Rifle .22 with 18.5 Inch Barrel
A BSA meteor break-barrel air rifle chambered for .22 calibre pellets, designed for sporting and target use. The rifle features a rifled steel barrel with a blued finish, which shows some light surface scratches and minor wear concentrated around the breech area. The action is a traditional spring-piston system operated by breaking the barrel. The furniture consists of a one-piece Monte Carlo style wooden stock with a smooth finish, featuring a defined comb and a textured rubber recoil pad to the butt. The stock displays several small indentations and surface scratches consistent with field use. This example is fitted with a telescopic sight mounted to the receiver’s dovetail rail. The optic is a 3-9×40 variable power scope featuring a 1/2 mil-dot reticle, with markings on the objective bell reading 3-9×40 1/2mil-dot@35yds. The rifle is presented in a black fabric gun slip with red trim and carry handles.
