Lot 817: Mid-Century Mahogany Veneer Sideboard / Display Cabinet
A Mid-Century mahogany veneer sideboard / display cabinet of low, rectangular form. The unit is divided into two distinct storage areas: the left-hand section serves as a display cabinet with an internal wooden shelf, fronted by a single sliding glass door set within white plastic tracks. The right-hand section provides closed storage, comprising a single top drawer above a hinged cupboard door. The piece is finished in a straight-grained mahogany veneer, likely Sapele, displaying a characteristic ribbon-like grain pattern. The drawer and cupboard are fitted with dark-toned circular metal knobs featuring a textured floral motif. A white adhesive lot label marked ‘818’ is present on the top edge.
Large-scale furniture items; exact dimensions are not provided.
