Lot 969: A Galvanised Metal Utility Bucket
A galvanised metal utility bucket of cylindrical form with a slight taper toward the base. The piece is constructed with a single vertical side seam and features a wire-loop handle attached via integrated metal lugs. The surface displays a dull grey patina characteristic of weathered zinc coating, alongside significant signs of industrial use including surface oxidation and calcification residue on both the interior and exterior. Using the accompanying ballpoint pen for scale, the bucket stands at approximately twice the length of the pen. No maker’s marks or manufacturer stamps are visible on the metal.
