Lot 425: A Collection of Jigsaw Puzzles by Falcon de luxe, Jumbo, Ravensburger, and Others
A collection of cardboard jigsaw puzzles featuring various themes and piece counts. The assortment includes a Falcon de luxe 1000-piece puzzle titled The Whitesmith’s Cottage in Winter by artist Dominic Davison and a Jumbo 2000-piece puzzle depicting the Chapel Bridge in Lucerne, Switzerland. Also present is a WHSmith 1000-piece puzzle titled Lunch in the Pub Garden by Sarah Adams, a Mindbogglers 1000-piece puzzle featuring Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, Australia, and two Corner Piece Puzzles titled Canals of Venice (1000 pieces) and Windsor Castle (500 pieces). The lot further contains a HUADADA Home Sweet puzzle and a novelty Whisky Enthusiast’s Jigsaw Puzzle (200 pieces) housed in a black cylindrical cardboard tube. Other manufacturers identified include Ravensburger. The puzzles feature a variety of printed photographic and illustrated scenes, primarily focused on landscapes, architecture, and rural life.
Condition report:
The collection is in mixed condition. Several boxes exhibit visible shelf wear, including scuffed corners, edge rubbing, and remnants of adhesive tape. The HUADADA Home Sweet puzzle appears to remain in its original factory shrink wrap. The cylindrical tube for the Whisky Enthusiast\'s puzzle shows minor surface abrasions. As these items are previously owned, the completeness of individual puzzle pieces has not been verified for the unsealed boxes.
