Lot 89: A Collection of Workshop Hand and Power Tools Including a Draper 25AM Socket Set
A collection of workshop hand and power tools primarily contained within various storage cases. The lot includes a Draper 25AM 1/2 inch square drive socket set, designed for AF and metric sizes. The set is housed in an orange painted metal case embossed with the Draper maker’s mark and contains chrome vanadium steel tools including a speed brace and various sockets. Also included is a corded electric drill with a red plastic body, presented in a grey moulded plastic carry case. A further mechanical hand tool set is contained in a black moulded plastic briefcase-style carrier, featuring combination wrenches, a ratchet, adjustable pliers, and a screwdriver. Additionally, a black plastic toolbox contains an assortment of miscellaneous hand tools including locking pliers, files, and screwdrivers.
Condition report:
All items are in used condition with signs of age and workshop wear. The Draper socket set is incomplete with several components missing from the designated slots. Visible surface oxidation and rust are present on multiple tools, particularly the files and locking pliers. The mechanical and electrical components, including the corded drill, are untested for working order.
