Lot 94: Three Items Comprising a Portable Metal Outboard Fuel Tank and a Pair of Wellington Boots
A collection comprising a portable metal fuel tank and a pair of rubber boots. The fuel tank is of a horizontal, rounded rectangular form with a cream-painted finish. It is constructed from metal and features a central fixed carrying handle, a threaded filler cap, and an attached black rubber fuel line equipped with a manual squeeze primer bulb. Two small paper adhesive labels are affixed to the tank body, bearing the numbers 694 and 5766. The pair of Wellington-style boots are fashioned from olive green rubber with heavy black synthetic treaded soles. The boots feature ribbed detailing to the upper calf and reinforced sections at the heel and toe. No manufacturer or maker marks are clearly legible on either item.
Condition report:
The fuel tank is in a heavily used state, exhibiting significant surface rust, atmospheric corrosion, and widespread paint loss across the exterior. The interior condition is unknown. The rubber hose and primer bulb show signs of age-related wear but remain flexible. The boots show evidence of previous use, including soil deposits on the soles and light abrasions to the rubber surfaces.
