Lot 118: An Assortment of Hand and Power Tools including a Power Devil Electric Planer and Vintage Hand Tools
A mixed collection of hand and power tools featuring a Power Devil electric planer, model PDW 5016ACC, 600W, with a label indicating Rugby, England. The lot includes various saws such as a bow saw with a red frame, a junior hacksaw with a black frame, a blue-framed hacksaw, and a loose hand saw blade. Traditional hand tools comprise a carpenter’s hand brace, a wooden-headed mallet, and a curved metal sickle blade. Also present is a yellow tape measure, a metal G-clamp, and a portable bit and driver set in a black plastic case. Consumables and miscellaneous items include a retail pack of two 12 inch hacksaw blades, a tube of Bostik 2 Weatherproof adhesive, and a long rolled windbreak featuring red, white, and yellow diagonal stripes. Condition report:
The items are in used condition with varying degrees of wear. The vintage hand brace and sickle show significant surface rust and oxidation. The blue-framed hacksaw is heavily corroded. The Power Devil electric planer is in used condition and is sold as untested. Other components show typical signs of age and workshop use.
