A large contemporary decorative sculpture of a stylised fish, cast from resin or a composite material with a mottled grey and white finish intended to simulate marble. The piece features bold, simplified forms including a circular eye, thick lips, and fanned fins with deep, linear incised detailing. The sculpture, which stands 70cm tall, sits upon a separate, coordinating base carved in a similar style to represent turbulent waves. No signatures or foundry marks are visible.

Condition report:
The sculpture exhibits a significant vertical fracture running through the head and gill section of the fish. The surface shows areas of dark staining and accumulated surface grime throughout.
