Lot 217: A Collection of Garden Furniture and Ornaments
A collection of outdoor furniture and decorative garden items. The lot includes an adjustable sun lounger constructed with a white tubular metal frame and horizontal vinyl strapping, of a type commonly used in commercial or leisure environments. Also included is a reconstituted stone bird bath featuring a shallow basin on a pedestal with a textured faux-bois bark effect. A cast stone garden urn of classical campana form with a fluted body is presented on a separate square-section plinth. The collection further comprises two circular glazed ceramic planters with a buff-coloured glaze and a small wooden occasional table with a square top on a central pedestal base. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on the items.
Condition report:
The items exhibit wear and weathering consistent with outdoor exposure. The sun lounger straps are heavily soiled with surface grime. The reconstituted stone bird bath and urn show significant moss and lichen growth with minor chips to the edges of the urn plinth. The ceramic planters are soiled. The wooden table shows surface scuffs and wear to the finish.
