Lot 268: An Assortment of Domestic Ceramics, Glassware, and Miscellaneous Household Items including J&G Meakin
A mixed lot of household goods and ceramics. The collection includes a white ceramic sauce boat with blue decoration to the handle, bearing the backstamp Royal Staffordshire Ironstone Shantung by J&G Meakin, England. Also present is a variety of stoneware and porcelain items including several mugs, one featuring the printed text Good Make A Little, a lidded jar in the form of a fruit, a figurine of a person in a gown, and various bowls and small vessels. Glassware consists of a clear textured glass vase, a flared white ceramic vase with floral decoration, and a glass tumbler. Utility items include a red plastic berry picker with metal tines, a hand-held can opener, and a square woven seagrass or straw mat. The lot also contains several pairs of sunglasses in individual plastic sleeves and a retail box for a ZAGG Invisible Shield Glass Elite screen protector. The items are presented in a Belsiani cardboard transport tray.
Condition report:
The items are in used condition with signs of previous use and handling consistent with a mixed domestic lot. Ceramics and glassware appear free from major structural damage or large chips upon visual inspection, though they are stored loose within the tray. The completeness of the boxed screen protector has not been verified. The woven mat and purple quilted fabric show minor surface wear.
