Lot 289: An Assortment of 1920s Great Gatsby and Gangster Style Costume Accessories
An assortment of costume accessories designed in the 1920s Great Gatsby and gangster style, suitable for fancy dress. The collection includes two black pinstripe trilby-style hats featuring contrasting white bands and two pairs of black elasticated trouser braces fitted with silver-tone metal clips. The neckwear consists of three black satin-effect neckties. For flapper-themed attire, the lot contains two pairs of long, over-the-elbow black satin-effect gloves and three black sequinned headbands, each adorned with an upright black feather. Jewellery items include one long, multi-strand faux pearl necklace and one pair of ornate silver-tone costume drop earrings set with black faceted stones. The collection is completed by two black plastic cigarette holders. Materials used include synthetic polyester fabrics, elastic, plastic, base metal, and feathers. No designer or manufacturer marks are visible on the items.
