Lot 484: A Set of Porcelana Real Brasil Ingrid Pattern Tea and Dinner Wares
A set of ceramic tea and dinner wares attributed to Porcelana Real Brasil in the Ingrid pattern. The collection comprises a lidded teapot, a lidded sugar bowl, a cream jug, and an assortment of teacups, saucers, side plates, and shallow bowls. The pieces are constructed with scalloped, moulded rims and curved handles. The decoration consists of transfer-printed floral sprays featuring pink blossoms and green foliage against a pale cream ground. No manufacturer marks are visible on the bases of the items; however, the pieces bear auction house labels for Liskeard Auction Rooms.
Condition report:
The set appears to be in fair condition with no major chips or cracks visible through the glass display cabinet. Some surface dust is present. As is typical for mid-20th-century ceramic services, there may be fine crazing, minor rim wear, or slight fading to the transfer-printed decoration consistent with age and use.
