Lot 623: Eligor 1:43 Scale MAN TGX XL (6x2) with 3-Axle Refrigerated Trailer Samworth Brothers 10th Anniversary Limited Edition
A 1:43 scale model manufactured by Eligor in France, consisting of a MAN TGX XL (6×2) tractor unit and a three-axle refrigerated trailer. The model is constructed from die-cast metal with plastic components. It features the Samworth Brothers Quality Foods livery, specifically commissioned to mark the 10th anniversary of Samworth Brothers Distribution (1998-2008). The trailer sides bear the company name and a circular commemorative emblem with the text Celebrating 10 years of Quality Service surrounding a central Quality is a way of life graphic. This model includes a Certificate of Authenticity from Search Impex Limited, identifying the piece as number 419 of a limited edition of 500. The model is housed in its original polystyrene inner tray and cream-coloured Eligor windowed card box.
Condition report:
The model is in excellent, near-mint condition with crisp paintwork and detailed decals. It appears complete with no visible missing parts. The original packaging is present and shows light shelf wear with minor creasing to the card box, though it remains structurally sound and stable.
