Lot 654: A Collection of Eight Die-Cast Model Vehicles including Lledo Days Gone and a Lancia Stratos
This collection comprises eight die-cast model vehicles, featuring seven vintage-style commercial and passenger vehicles from the Lledo Days Gone series and a larger scale model of a Lancia Stratos rally car. The Lledo models include a Peek Frean’s Biscuits delivery van in green and orange, a dark blue British Overseas Airways Corporation (B.O.A.C.) passenger bus, and a blue and yellow Fyffes Bananas delivery van. Also included are a Charles Wells Ltd brewery truck with a moulded plastic load of sacks, an Elf Petroleum Spirit tanker in blue and white, and a red and black London Mail van. A black vintage coupe with a gold-tone engine cowling and radiator completes the smaller group. The Lancia Stratos is a larger scale competition model, likely 1/24 or 1/18 scale, featuring a red, white, and black racing livery with sponsor decals for Pirelli, Britax, Magneti Marelli, and Campagnolo. All vehicles are constructed from die-cast metal with plastic components and free-wheeling mechanisms.
Condition report:
The collection is in generally good used condition. Minor paint wear and surface dust are present across the vehicles. The Lancia Stratos shows some slight lifting to the decals and has a small adhesive price label remaining on the windshield. All items are unboxed.
