Lot 1029: A modern mahogany finished two piece corner display cabinet
A late 20th-century reproduction corner display cabinet of two-piece construction with a dark mahogany-toned wood and veneer finish. The upper section features a single door with an arched glazed panel, opening to reveal a mirrored back and two adjustable glass shelves. The lower section comprises a cupboard base with a single door featuring a conforming shaped panel, with the interior containing a central vertical divider. The unit is fitted with brass-effect metal drop handles and a matching pull handle to the upper door. The design is in the style of contemporary manufacturers such as Southern Enterprises or SEI Furniture and appears to be fitted for internal lighting.
Condition report:
The cabinet is in good used condition with minor surface abrasions and light scratches to the finish consistent with age and use. The glass panels and shelves appear to be free of significant chips or cracks. Hardware is present and functional.
