Lot 1037: A contemporary two-piece dark brown leather lounge suite comprising a two-seater sofa and matching armchair
A two-piece lounge suite in a contemporary style, upholstered in dark brown leather. The suite consists of a two-seater sofa and a matching armchair. The design features integrated lumbar support, top-stitched detailing, and fixed, padded seat and back cushions. The pieces are raised on short, square-tapered wooden feet. The form and construction are in the style of contemporary modular seating such as the VonKurt or VonRyan series by Ashley Furniture, although no maker’s marks or labels were identified during inspection.
Condition report:
The suite is in heavily used condition with significant signs of wear throughout. There is a large area of surface wear, thinning, and discolouration to the top of the backrest on the armchair. General scuffing and creasing are present throughout the leather upholstery, notably on the armrests and seat cushions. Debris is visible in the crevices. The suite requires professional cleaning and potential restoration to the leather surfaces.
