Lot 130: A Pair of Cast Reconstituted Stone Garden Urns on Pedestal Bases
A pair of garden urns of tapered form, manufactured from cast reconstituted stone with a textured surface. The exterior of each vessel features relief-moulded decoration, with floral and foliate motifs on one side and a basketweave or brick-work pattern on the reverse. Each urn is supported by a short circular stem resting on a square pedestal base. The interiors are finished with a central drainage hole. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible.
Condition report:
The urns are in good condition, showing signs of weathering and surface dirt consistent with age and outdoor exposure. There are minor surface abrasions and small nibbles to the edges of the rims and pedestal bases. No major structural cracks or previous repairs are evident.
