Lot 142: A modern wrought metal three-tier baker's rack in the traditional style
A three-tier wrought metal shelving unit in the form of a baker’s rack, suitable for garden or conservatory use. The item is constructed from iron or steel with a distressed grey-painted finish. The design incorporates decorative scrollwork panels to the crest and base, with lattice X-shaped supports on the side frames. The construction is wrought and welded. The three shelf tiers consist of metal frames that are currently empty, designed to accommodate shelf inserts which are not present. No maker’s marks, symbols, or stamps are visible on the frame.
Condition report:
The item exhibits surface wear, dust, and areas of light oxidation consistent with age and use. The three shelf tiers are missing their original glass or wooden inserts.
