Lot 193: A set of four Victorian style cast iron effect garden planters
A set of four garden planters comprising two square-form planters and two rectangular trough planters. Each piece is constructed from cast iron effect plastic and features ornate pierced side panels with scrolling foliate and fleur-de-lis motifs. The upper rims are finished with a continuous decorative cresting of alternating leaves and fleurs-de-lis. The square planters feature matching decorative lattice-work bases. One rectangular trough is fitted with a removable black plastic liner. No maker’s marks or foundry stamps are visible.
Condition report:
In weathered condition overall, showing surface dust, particularly at the joints and edges, consistent with outdoor use.
