Lot 261: An Assortment of Ceramic Tableware, Ovenware, and Decorative Vessels
This lot comprises a collection of ceramic items for domestic use and decoration, predominantly finished in white and neutral tones. The tea ware includes white porcelain or fine earthenware pieces featuring gilt rims. Serving items consist of a lidded sugar bowl and a cream jug decorated with a silver-toned floral transfer pattern, alongside a separate white jug with a gold-line rim. The ovenware is represented by a large white rectangular baking dish with fluted exterior walls. Also included is a group of large, handleless ceramic vessels or planters finished in various matte and gloss neutral glazes, including shades of cream, tan, and light pink. A single decorative vessel features a dark bronze-toned finish with a prominent moulded diamond geometric texture to the exterior. No manufacturer marks or factory stamps are visible on the bases or bodies of the items. A lot sticker from Liskeard Auction Rooms is present on the storage box.
Condition report:
The items are in generally good used condition. There are surface marks and light wear consistent with age and domestic use, particularly to the interiors of the larger vessels. No significant chips or cracks are visible from the provided images.
