Lot 266: An Assortment of Decorative Ceramics and Household Kitchenware
A mixed collection of late 20th-century decorative ceramics and functional kitchen items. The group includes several ceramic collector plates from The Village series, featuring transfer-printed English pastoral scenes, with reverse markings for DISC and dated 1990. Also present is a small ceramic plate bearing the printed signature of Jill Barklem. Decorative ceramic items comprise a large planter with a pink ruffled rim and floral motifs, an oval platter decorated with purple pansies, and various small bird figurines. The kitchenware includes a large black-and-white speckled non-stick frying pan with a wrapped handle, a stainless steel thermal carafe with a black plastic lid, and a clear glass dressing shaker printed with a balsamic vinaigrette recipe. Further items include a blue and white patterned bowl and a white scalloped-edge bowl with floral transfers.
Condition report:
The items are generally in good, used condition. The frying pan appears to be unused with the handle still in original plastic wrapping. Minor surface wear and light abrasions consistent with age and domestic use may be present on ceramic and glass surfaces. No significant chips or cracks were observed during initial inspection.
