Lot 323: A Collection of Vintage Decorative Ceramic and Glass Ornaments including Coalport, Wedgewood, and more.
A collection of miscellaneous decorative ceramics, bone china, and glass ornaments. The group includes a Coalport white shell-shaped vase with applied ceramic roses, bearing a blue factory mark to the base. Glassware features a teardrop-shaped paperweight with a blue core and controlled bubbles, and a second paperweight with a multi-coloured flecked design. Ceramic items comprise various miniature tea wares, lidded trinket boxes including an egg-shaped example in a strawberry pattern, and pieces marked H & M Made in England. The collection features various hand-painted and transfer-printed floral motifs. Additional items include a pair of Stratton cufflinks in a fitted case, further pairs of cufflinks, a gold-tone compact in a green box, a white ceramic swan, and various small figurines and cottage-style ornaments.
Condition report:
Most items appear to be in good condition. There are minor chips and wear to the delicate applied ceramic flowers on several pieces. General surface wear, minor gilding loss, and light scratches consistent with age and use.
