Lot 344: A Collection of Decorative and Novelty Items including a Compare the Market Meerkat and Ceramic Bulb Bowl
A collection of various decorative and novelty items. The group comprises a boxed Sergei meerkat plush toy from the Compare the Market advertising campaign, a plush clown doll in multicoloured clothing, and a teddy bear wearing a black jacket. Included is a resin figurine of a classical female figure set upon a circular base. The lot also features a blue and white glazed ceramic bulb bowl with foliate decoration and a pierced rim, which contains a set of small wooden panpipes with pipes individually marked with the musical note letters E, D, C, B, A, G, F, E, D, C, B, A, G. Other items present include a vintage wooden shoe last incised with the characters 6/85, a white zippered pouch printed with the word BEYOUTIFUL, a dark green hardstone-style ring, two small carved bird figures, and a fragment of stone.
