Lot 447: An Assortment of Ceramic and Glass Tableware
An assortment of ceramic and glass tableware and household items. The collection includes a large shallow white ceramic serving bowl featuring an interior border of geometric diamonds and solid bands in shades of blue, maroon, and brown. Also present is a small white lidded ceramic tureen decorated with blue floral sprigs and a tripartite cut glass dish with starburst and floral motifs. The lot further contains a small, squat white ceramic pot with heavy relief-moulded foliate decoration, a stack of white glazed ceramic plates, and a simple cylindrical clear glass dish. No maker’s marks are visible on the items. The collection is stored in a clear plastic bin bearing a Liskeard Auction Rooms label for Lot 447.
Condition report:
The relief-moulded white pot shows signs of interior staining and use. The items generally exhibit wear and signs of use consistent with age. No significant chips or cracks are visible from the inspection.
