Lot 496: A Collection of Ceramic Tableware, Glassware, and Metal Napkin Rings
An assortment of decorative items and tableware displayed across wooden shelving. The group includes a white ceramic pitcher with polychrome decoration in an Oriental style featuring floral and vase motifs. Also present is a rustic stoneware pouring vessel with a side handle and dark lid, decorated with stylised floral designs in blue and black. The collection further comprises a moulded ceramic owl figurine with a turquoise glaze, a small rectangular ceramic dish with a blue and yellow patterned border, and several metal napkin rings in brass and silver-toned finishes. Additional items include a green and white malachite-effect lidded urn with gilt accents, two white ribbed ceramic pots, a small glazed ceramic bowl, and various pieces of clear and cut glassware. No maker’s marks are visible on the surfaces of the items.
Condition report:
The items are in generally fair condition. The small rectangular dish shows surface wear and staining. The metal napkin rings exhibit tarnish and surface oxidisation. General light wear and minor surface marks consistent with age and use are present across the collection.
