Lot 509: Three Sparklets BOC Metal Soda Syphons
A trio of mid-20th century BOC Sparklets soda syphons manufactured in England. The collection comprises one sky blue ovoid-form syphon and two metallic gold-tone syphons, one of spherical form and one of ovoid form. The bodies are constructed from metal with coloured finishes, each fitted with a black composite and chrome-plated syphon head. The chrome collars are stamped with the marks SPARKLETS and MADE IN ENGLAND. These items are associated with the 1960s and 1970s production period.

Condition report:
The syphons show signs of age and use, including surface scuffs, scratches, and areas of finish loss to the coloured bodies. Light pitting is visible on the chrome-plated components.
