Lot 511: A Trio of Electrical Items comprising an HMV Electric Heater, a Bush Portable DVD Player, and a Car Battery Charger
This lot comprises three electrical items. The first is a mid-century HMV (His Master’s Voice) electric space heater of semicircular design. The construction features a mottled brown Bakelite top and base with cream-painted metal horizontal louvres. The HMV manufacturer mark is visible within a small oval on the base of the unit. The second item is a Bush portable DVD player, presented in a plastic bag with an accompanying instruction manual and a set of assorted connection cables. The third item is a slimline car battery charger with a silver-toned plastic casing. This unit includes a power cable fitted with a 13A fused UK plug and two charging leads terminated with red and black alligator clips. A barcode sticker on the charger reads 56975E03W3001805.
Condition report:
The HMV heater is in fair condition, showing visible surface scratches and marks to the Bakelite top surface; no power cable is attached. The Bush DVD player and the car battery charger are in used condition. All electrical items in this lot are sold as decorative or for parts and restoration only. They have not been PAT tested or checked for working order. Professional electrical testing is recommended prior to any use.
