Lot 717: A Collection of Assorted Framed Artworks including a Monogrammed Landscape (Signed)
A collection of assorted framed artworks comprising various mediums and subjects. The group includes an oil or acrylic painting on board or canvas depicting an autumnal woodland path, signed with the monogram RM to the lower right. Also included is a heraldic print detailing the history of the Twigger family name with a decorative coat of arms and border. The botanical subjects feature a watercolour study of poppies, a print of roses, and a large-format photographic print of a succulent. The collection further contains fantasy-themed illustrations including a watercolour of a knight mounted upon a dragon and a print of a colourful dragon against a city backdrop. Additional pieces include a twilight harbour scene and a small figurative study of a child on a beach with a toy boat. The works are presented in a variety of wooden, black, and white frames, many featuring decorative card mounts.
Condition report:
The collection is in fair to good condition overall. Minor scuffs and abrasions are visible to the edges of several frames. Some instances of dust and light surface marks are present on the glazing. The artworks have not been examined out of their frames.
