Lot 73: An Assortment of Electrical Supplies, Hardware, and Hand Tools
This lot comprises a collection of electrical distribution equipment, building supplies, and assorted hand tools. The primary item is an electrical consumer unit distribution board rated for 230 Volts. It is fitted with a residual current device (RCD) and several miniature circuit breakers (MCBs) visible behind a hinged, smoke-tinted transparent cover. Also included is a surface-mounted weatherproof electrical switch or socket housing with an embossed IP66 rating, indicating it is dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets. The lot contains a tub of Evo-Stik Lumber-Mate adhesive or filler. A large cardboard box contains a variety of hardware and tools, including a green-handled garden cultivator, a wooden-handled tool, multiple rolls of wire, various adhesive and sealing tapes, and bagged fasteners including screws and nails. Additionally, there is a sealed pack containing four cone-shaped metallic components, possibly weights or moulds.
Condition report:
The items are in mixed condition, primarily appearing as used surplus or salvaged stock. The consumer unit shows significant yellowing to the plastic housing and surface dirt; internal electrical components are untested. The IP66 housing shows visible scuffing and dirt. The Evo-Stik tub is used with exterior wear and signs of storage. Tools and hardware within the box show various stages of use and age-related wear. The packaged metallic components appear to be in new, unused condition within their original plastic wrapping.
