Lot 774: A Pair of Contemporary Chrome-Plated Tubular Steel Dining Chairs
A pair of contemporary side or dining chairs featuring chrome-plated tubular steel frames. Each chair is designed with a flared backrest containing six vertical metal spindles. The D-shaped padded seats are upholstered in black vinyl. The frames are of welded tubular construction, terminating in four simple legs. Several temporary adhesive auction labels are present on the seats and frames.
Condition report:
The chairs are in fair to poor condition. There is significant and widespread pitting and surface oxidation visible across the chrome-plated frames, most notably on the vertical spindles of the backrests. The black vinyl upholstery exhibits surface dust, marking, and a small tear to the front edge of one seat.
