Lot 781: A late 20th-century stained hardwood coffee table with glass inset top and cane shelf
A late 20th-century reproduction coffee table in the Regency style, constructed from dark-stained hardwood. The square top features canted corners and is inset with four clear glass panes divided by a wooden cross-member frame. The table includes a secondary lower tier fitted with a panel of woven cane. The structure is supported by four short block-style legs with vertical moulded detailing. No maker’s marks or labels are visible.
Condition report:
The table is in fair to good used condition. There are visible surface scuffs and minor scratches to the wooden frame, notably along the edges and corners. A small area of white residue or a minor chip is present on one corner of the top frame. The glass panes are intact but show surface dust and smudging. The woven cane shelf is in sound condition.
