Lot 821: Edwardian Style Oak Draw-Leaf Dining Table
An Edwardian style draw-leaf dining table constructed from solid oak. The piece features a solid oak plank top with canted corners and moulded edges. The draw-leaf design allows for two extension leaves to be stored beneath the main tabletop. The table is supported by four square tapered legs which terminate in castors. No maker marks, stamps, or labels are present on the visible surfaces of the wood.
Condition report:
The table is in fair overall condition. The top surface is heavily stained with significant uneven colouration across the planks. The finish is notably dry and appears partially stripped, necessitating professional refinishing. The frame and legs show general age-related wear, including various knocks and scuffs consistent with use. One castor is missing or damaged, resulting in the table resting unevenly on the floor.
