Lot 863: A Collection of Contemporary Table Linens including Dunelm and Embroidered Examples
A collection of contemporary table linens featuring items from the British retailer Dunelm. The lot includes six rectangular placemats and a matching table runner in an aubergine faux-silk fabric, decorated with large-scale embroidered floral outlines in cream and pink tones and finished with a pleated cream border. Also included are two additional table runners: one in purple synthetic fabric embellished with scattered diamante studs, and one in a neutral biscuit-coloured fabric with scrolling floral embroidery. The assortment of tablecloths comprises one white example with a red floral border featuring laser-cut detailing and scalloped edges, one plain aubergine tablecloth, one lavender textured tablecloth, and a light mint green fabric piece. Construction is primarily of synthetic blends including polyester and cotton-polyester mixes. Several items retain original retail labels for Dunelm Mill.
Placemats approx. 35 x 48cm.
Condition report:
The collection is in good, well-maintained condition. Several pieces appear to be unused, retaining original manufacturer retail tags and price labels. No significant staining, tears, or fraying are visible upon inspection.
