Lot 868: A Collection of Modern Household Ceramics including Royal Doulton Gordon Ramsay Maze Grill and Alessi
This lot comprises an assortment of modern household ceramics, featuring stoneware items from the Royal Doulton Gordon Ramsay Maze Grill collection and other makers. The Royal Doulton pieces feature the characteristic textured concentric circular pattern of the Maze Grill range, finished in plain white and two-tone grey and white glazes. The collection contains seven cups and saucers and two dishes. Also included is an espresso set attributed to Alessi, consisting of four espresso cups and matching saucers, decorated with a two-tone dipped glaze effect in grey and white. A set of six cake plates is present, featuring a transfer-printed floral spray in the centre with pink, orange, and purple flowers on a speckled cream and green ground with a brown-lined rim. The lot further includes six cheese plates and a cream-glazed circular base for a Stilton cheese dish. The underside of the Stilton base is marked with the word Stilton in brown cursive script above a small brown transfer-printed crest featuring a shield. Many items are housed within their original retail packaging, which is marked Royal Doulton Exclusively for Gordon Ramsay.
