Lot 914: A vintage Singer hand-crank sewing machine
A Singer hand-crank sewing machine featuring a black-finished cast iron body with a textured crinkle finish. The machine is mounted on a rectangular wooden base and is operated by a manual hand-crank mechanism with a turned wooden handle and a chrome-finished handwheel. The lot includes a matching domed wooden carry case featuring the manufacturer name SINGER in gold-toned lettering to the front. The machine bed has two small white adhesive labels affixed with handwritten notations including the digits 2, 8, and 9.
Condition report:
The wooden case shows significant scuffs, scratches, and finish wear consistent with age and use. The sewing machine body appears dusty with minor surface wear. The mechanical functionality has not been tested.
