Lot 953: Contemporary Modular Corner Sofa and Matching Ottoman
Attributed to Ashley Furniture, a large-scale modular corner sofa and matching square ottoman. The suite is upholstered in a light taupe textured woven fabric with a chenille-like finish. The sofa is constructed from multiple modular sections, including a curved corner unit, and features deep box-border seat cushions with high, contoured back cushions. The lot is accompanied by five scatter cushions: three featuring a grey and white floral motif and two in a white faux-fur finish. While no manufacturer label is present on the sofa frame, the design and upholstery are consistent with the Decelle series by Ashley Furniture. A small fabric tag on the faux-fur cushion is marked HERITAGE, and a white rectangular sticker on the ottoman bears the number 953.
Condition report:
The item is in used condition. There is significant visible staining and soiling present on the seat cushions and the leading edges of the armrests. General pilling and surface wear to the fabric are evident throughout, consistent with domestic use. Professional cleaning is recommended.
