Lot 990: A mid-to-late 20th-century white painted utilitarian wall-mounted cupboard
A small wall-mounted cupboard of utilitarian design, dating from the mid-to-late 20th century. The unit is of one-piece construction, manufactured from wood or a wood-composite material and finished in an overall white paint. The front features a solid panel door and a corresponding fixed panel, both of which are fitted with horizontal painted wooden handles. The door is hinged at the top edge with two simple brown-finished metal butt hinges. To the reverse, the cupboard is fitted with a single metal bracket for wall mounting and a small rectangular metal plate that has been painted over, obscuring any potential markings. A temporary auction lot sticker numbered 990 is present on the side. The interior is not visible.
Condition report:
The cupboard is in a used condition consistent with its utilitarian purpose. There are visible scuffs, scratches, and minor chips to the painted finish throughout. The metal hinges show some surface oxidation and wear.
