Lot 249: A Collection of Assorted Pressed, Etched, and Cut Glassware including an Oil Lamp and Tableware
A collection of assorted domestic glassware featuring a variety of pressed, etched, and cut designs, typical of late 19th to mid-20th-century production. The lot includes etched pieces such as a spherical rose bowl and a circular base decorated with floral and foliate motifs. Pressed glass items comprise a large circular bowl with a central starburst and geometric multi-faceted pattern, a group of teardrop-shaped dishes with stippled texture, and a pair of tall trumpet-form vases on star-shaped feet. Further items include a small fluted creamer with a loop handle, a star-shaped serving dish, a circular trivet with moulded concentric rings, and a small hexagonal vessel. The lot also features a glass oil lamp base with a spiral twist stem and scalloped foot, fitted with a brass burner mechanism.
