Lot 259: An Assortment of Ceramic Tableware, Kitchen Accessories, and Household Items
A collection of ceramic tableware and household items including a pair of lidded earthenware tureens decorated with polychrome transfer-printed floral patterns and relief-moulded scrollwork. The lot features a blue and white fluted ceramic bowl with an Oriental-style scene and a Cornwall Land of Legend commemorative plate with a relief-moulded lattice border. Also included is a porcelain fruit bowl with a reticulated lattice rim, a set of earthenware plates with pastel zigzag borders, and a large white fluted pitcher. The collection is further comprised of a brown salt-glazed stoneware bottle, a glazed earthenware pitcher, a cream-coloured divided hors d’oeuvres dish, a novelty mug inscribed Fantastic Grandad, and several small creamers and cups. Household accessories include a set of Corrina mechanical kitchen scales with a white plastic body and a red pointer dial, and a small fluted bowl in smoked glass.
