Lot 296: A Collection of Cut Lead Crystal and Glassware to include Bohemia Crystal Tumblers together with Ceramics and Decorative Sundries
A mixed collection of glassware, ceramics, and decorative items. The lead crystal includes a boxed pair of tumblers by Bohemia Crystal, made exclusively for Debenhams, featuring a deep-cut pattern of diamonds and starbursts. The box bears the Bohemia Czechoslovakia seal and specifies over 24 per cent PbO lead crystal. Also included is a square-bodied crystal spirit decanter with a multifaceted stopper, decorated with cross-hatched diamond and fan motifs. Further glassware consists of a heavy square-form cut glass vessel with a bold diamond pattern and a single small cordial glass with a faceted stem. The ceramic component features a rectangular covered dish with a transfer-printed floral rose motif and a mottled brown decorative border. The metalware includes a set of four small stemmed goblets with a matte grey finish in the style of pewter. The lot is completed by an assortment of decorative candles, including a large cream-coloured spherical candle by Landon Tyler with etched floral patterns, a pillar candle featuring cursive script text, and various smaller candles.
